Holding cap
Sets the most any one wallet can own, as a share of supply. Selling back to the curve always works.
Every modable.fun coin carries its own rulebook. Solana reads it on every buy, sell and transfer, and anything that breaks a rule simply doesn't go through. The mods are locked the moment the coin launches: not the creator, not us, nobody can change them. Once the curve fills and the coin moves to pump.fun, they switch off.
Buyers come in.
Bots that buy in the first seconds pay a big fee.
In the first minutes, each wallet can only take a little.
A big holder wants out.
Someone buys.
Buys fill the bonding curve.
Keep the first minutes fair: limits on how much one wallet can grab, and costs for bots that rush in.
Sets the most any one wallet can own, as a share of supply. Selling back to the curve always works.
The holding cap begins tiny and grows on a clock, so the first seconds can't grab a big bag.
An extra-tight holding cap for the first minutes after launch. Stacks with your other caps.
Caps how many buys fit in one Solana block, so nobody scoops the launch in a single burst. Sells always go through.
During the opening window, buys carrying huge priority fees or Jito tips are refused. Sells always go through. A tip sent from a separate transaction in the same Jito bundle can slip past, so treat it as a speed bump, not a wall.
The trading fee opens high and slides down to the normal 1% over the first minutes, making it expensive to snipe. The curve itself charges it, whatever app people buy with. Your own launch buy pays just 1%, and the fee is split like any trading fee.
Paid in coins on every buy, in the same transaction: burned for good, or sent to a pot for holders.
Above a size you choose, buys pay a fee that is burned, rising to the full rate for the largest buys. Small buys pay nothing.
Every buy burns a slice of what it bought. Supply only goes down, so each holder's share grows.
Every buy sends a slice into a pot for holders, split by how much each wallet held while it filled. The pot opens when the coin graduates (if it never does, it stays locked).
Shape how coins can leave: smaller sells for big bags, size limits, or set trading hours.
One size limit for every buy, sell and transfer, as a share of supply. It applies to everyone.
Separate limits for buys and sells: buying stays easy, but no single sell can unload a big position.
Small wallets sell freely. The bigger the bag, the smaller each sell is allowed to be.
Buys and sells only work during the hours you set (UTC), like an exchange that opens and closes. Sending works around the clock.
Decide where the coin can move: only through its market, or only passed from wallet to wallet.
The coin only moves through its market. Sending between wallets is refused, so nothing changes hands off-market.
Anyone can buy from the curve, but you can't sell back what you bought yourself: you pass it to another wallet, and tokens you received can be sold. (Your own second wallet counts as another wallet.)
A few pairs do the same job, so they can't be picked together:
Pass-it-on works per account: what a wallet buys from the curve it can't sell back itself, only pass on, and what it receives it can sell. Solana sees wallets, not people, so your own second wallet counts as another wallet. Trading hours pause buys and sells outside the chosen hours (sending always works) and must open at least an hour on each chosen day.
A quarter of every trading fee on your coin goes to you. Your own wallet plays by the same mods as every buyer, so your first buy has to fit under your coin's caps too. Selling back to the curve is never blocked by a holding cap.
